Quality
Assurance – Quality
Assurance Roofing Contractors ensure proper installation by reviewing
plans and checking the contractor's work during
construction. With the rise of construction-defect
lawsuits, many builders and developers are retaining the
services of Quality Assurance Contractors to minimize
construction defects and subsequent legal problems.
Large-scale developers, building owners, and even single-family
homeowners alike, prefer quality assurance contractors during original, remodel,
and/or re-roof construction. Consumers see the value in
hiring such contractors to avoid future problems and lawsuits,
and appreciate that the work will be done properly.

Cost Estimating –
Cost Estimators determine the problems that need to be
addressed and how to remediate them. Their specific
knowledge of building codes, labor and material costs, allow
them to accurately forecast repair costs and help ensure budget
adherence and project success. They use blueprints and
field measurements to determine the quantity of materials and
amount of labor needed. The Cost Estimators also determine
the equipment needs, sequence of operations, size of the crew
required, and physical constraints at the site. Our
knowledge of current-market labor and material costs is then
applied to the quantitative survey to derive accurate,
real-world estimates for project completion. Choosing
JEE's roof-specific skills and knowledge over a general
contractor's estimates may be the difference between having a
project that is estimated accurately and implemented
cost-efficiently, and one that is wrought with impractical or
inadequate solutions coming in either under- or over-priced.

Intrusive Testing
– In the course of many
litigation-type cases, we may be required to perform intrusive
testing -- testing that requires removal and reinstallation of
various roof and flashing components. Our roofing
consultants' observe and direct intrusive testing activities to
examine the as-built roof conditions, ascertain the causes of
defects, and assess the resultant and consequential damages.
The purpose of this type of testing is to observe the general
construction installation methods, determine the validity of
claims, and identify the source of any water intrusion into the
structure. The findings help us provide reasonable repair
recommendations and accurate cost estimates. Our expertise
also enables us to streamline the testing process and complete
it in both an efficient and cost-effective manner.
